Join the ITE Central Coast Section and Cal Poly SLO’s ITE Student Chapter for a Joint Hybrid Meeting on Thursday, May 23^rd from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM! The meeting will be held in-person at Cal Poly SLO (Building 192, Room 106) and via Zoom. Lunch will be provided for all in-person attendees. The topic will be SLO Transit’s transition to zero-emission buses (ZEBs) and related infrastructure improvements presented by Alex Fuchs, Mobility Services Business Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo

Alex Fuchs is the Mobility Services Business Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo. He oversees finance and operations for the City’s transit service, SLO Transit. Alex also manages transit-related capital improvement projects and oversees administration of state & federal grants. Alex started working for the City over ten years ago after graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in City and Regional Planning. He is currently updating SLO Transit’s 5-year Short Range Transit Plan, continuing the transition to zero-emission technologies, and coordinating promotional events this year for SLO Transit’s 50th anniversary.
