The ITE Central Coast Section is affiliated with the ITE Western District. We provide opportunities for professional development and community building at the regional and local levels through annual meetings, training, luncheons, and connecting members with area Student Chapters. The Central Coast Section was formed in 1996 to better facilitate discussion and interaction between transportation professionals along the central coast of California. The Section is comprised of members from three central coast counties; Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo. ITE is a community of transportation professionals where we strive to connect a variety of professionals working in the transportation field.

Networking Opportunities
ITE provides a platform for its members to share information. Through organized meetings at the local, regional, and national level, our members can build their circle of professional acquaintances from other peer agencies and firms, develop relationships that last a career. Our members can share experiences and perspectives on issues with people they grow to know – and be only one email or call away from support and advice.
Professional Development
ITE provides ample opportunities for people to enhance their career training through ongoing attendance at meetings, participation on councils, committee participation, and elected leadership opportunities.
