ITE International adopted new branding guidelines to bring all entities across the ITE universe into visual alignment. Since 2010 our section has had the following logo:

This logo was created for the hosting of the 2012 ITE Western District Annual Conference and it was decided to continue using it. However, it no longer meets the new guidelines and needed to be updated. Because updating branding for each section was going to have a cost to it, the Western District provided funding for this effort. We then reached out to Janet Creekmore with Eye Candy, the same graphic designer we had used for past designs.

The new guidelines limit the number of colors and size of logos so that the ITE brand is the most prominent visual element. Unfortunately, we were not able to keep our multi-color logo that helped visually define the elements in the old logo. Only two colors are allowed to be used, and one of the colors must match the ITE-branded logo. After much iteration and final approval by both the District and International, here is our new logo:

We will start to procreate this across the various things we put out to our members.
